OUR FOCUS
Roos International has been pioneering environmentally responsible wallcoverings since before “green” was fashionable. Through these innovations, we have set a new standard for sustainable wallcoverings that promotes a healthy building environment to maximize occupant productivity and minimize environmental impact. Our eco friendly wallcoverings are PVC free, contain recycled content and are made from rapidly renewable resources.
In addition to being at the forefront of the sustainability movement, we provide our customers with an unsurpassed selection of wallcoverings, ranging from exceedingly durable technical products to luxury, high-end options. In each and every customer interaction, we strive to offer the best possible service, quality products, and resources.
OUR STORY
Roos International was one of the first companies to offer environmentally friendly wallcoverings in North America beginning in 1986. The corporation has a variety of functions: importer, wholesaler, manufacturer, and removal and installation services in the wallcovering industry.
Roos was one of the original pioneers of glass textile wallcovering in North America beginning in 1986 imported from Sweden and since that time, has become the leading authority and supplier. In 1997, Roos introduced one of the first residential and commercial wallcovering collections of the now popular new polyester cellulose non-woven substrates. Just recently Roos has expanded its collections to include handcrafted faux finished wallcoverings, and a naturals collection of grasscloth, silks, strings, jutes and paperweaves. In addition, Roos introduced a new eco-friendly powder adhesive used by many installers for delicate papers.
Today, Roos International has worldwide network of wallcovering distributors, dealers and marketing representatives.
As a member of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (NGPP), the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), and ASID Industry Foundation, Roos International has served on various committees in these organizations. Dich and Deborah Roos, the owners, have worked side by side with the members of these organizations to further increase the professional standards, develop educational forums, and to promote the awareness of the professional within the trade.
